Best Real Estate Agent Website Design Companies: From the Eyes of an Actual Website Designer

the best real estate website design companies

This is a bitter sweet post. I know that I am giving my competition some credit and recognition here, but as a web designer and marketer for realtors, I’ve seen and heard a lot of good things about these website companies….and some not so great but we will get into that too. I want you to know that I really love all of these companies. They do a fantastic job and I really like most of their designs.

When it comes to growing your business in today’s digital-first market, the best real estate agent website design companies can make all the difference. Your website is your digital storefront, your lead generation machine, and often the first impression a buyer or seller has of your brand. If your site feels outdated or cookie-cutter, you’re already losing ground to competitors who invested in a stronger online presence.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through the five best real estate agent website design companies in 2025, ranked from affordable and practical to the most premium luxury providers. We’ll break down their pros, cons, pricing, setup fees, and unique features, while highlighting which type of realtor each one is best suited for.

5. AgentFire

AgentFire is a U.S.-based company known for delivering affordable yet premium-looking real estate websites. Their sites focus on branding and lead conversion, giving agents a professional image without the high custom design cost.

Pros:

  • Gorgeous branding-focused templates that feel custom

  • Built-in lead magnets and CTAs that capture attention without being pushy

  • Add-On Marketplace for upgrades like single-property pages, home valuation widgets, or neighborhood guides

  • Flat monthly fee of $119, regardless of tier

Cons:

  • No built-in CRM (you’ll need to integrate one)

  • Limited integrations compared to other providers

  • Entry-level templates may feel too “masculine” for some

Pricing:

  • Ignite Template: $119/month + $700 setup

  • Semi-Custom: $119/month + $1,800 design fee

  • Full Custom: $119/month + $3,500 design fee

Unique Features:
AgentFire’s Spark AI content generator and community pages that showcase schools, businesses, and lifestyle perks make it a strong choice for local SEO. For agents on a budget who still want branding that stands out, AgentFire is a great pick.

4. Placester

Placester is the budget-friendly option that still gets the job done. They became popular by partnering with Realtor associations and remain a go-to for newer agents.

Pros:

  • Extremely affordable, starting at just $59/month plus $25 for IDX

  • Simple drag-and-drop builder that doesn’t require coding

  • Basic CRM included

  • Concierge service for $50/month to handle updates

Cons:

  • Entry-level plan caps you at 25 pages

  • Limited lead generation tools without upgrades

  • Basic CRM and email caps make scaling harder

  • Better suited for solo agents than teams

Pricing:

  • Essential: $59/month + $25 IDX

  • Plus: $79/month + $25 IDX

  • Premier: $129/month + $25 IDX

  • Brokerage: $329/month + $25 IDX

Unique Features:
Placester’s concierge setup service is its standout. It’s like having a mini team on call for your website if you don’t want to fuss with tech. For new or budget-conscious agents, Placester is an affordable entry point.

3. Real Geeks

Real Geeks is an all-in-one powerhouse. I actually would not consider Real Geeks a “website” company. They are more of a CRM company. It’s a full platform with IDX, CRM, lead capture, and marketing tools baked right in.

Pros:

  • Integrated CRM with texting, drip campaigns, and AI chatbot

  • Built-in home valuation landing pages for seller leads

  • Automated Facebook and Google Ads creator

  • AI blogging tool for easy SEO content

Cons:

  • Only a handful of templates to choose from

  • Limited customization unless you hire a third-party designer

  • Costs can be steep for solo agents

Pricing:

  • Establish: $399/month + $250 setup

  • Grow: $699/month

  • Expand: $1,199/month (includes AI chatbot and lead guarantee)

  • Conquer: $1,799/month for larger teams

Unique Features:
Real Geeks excels in automation. Imagine a lead registers on your site, instantly gets a text, an email drip sequence, and a nudge from an AI assistant…all without you lifting a finger. For agents focused on scaling lead generation, Real Geeks is an efficient choice.

2. Agent Image

We are now in my top 2. So we will dive a little deeper into these 2 companies.

Agent Image is a veteran in the industry, best known for award-winning custom websites tailored to luxury agents and brokerages. I would have to say that Agent Image websites are my personal favorite in aesthetics. The only issue is there is a time when a website can look TOO GOOD. Let me explain:

Their designs are super modern, flashy, and extravagant. Also, their websites look like they are built around the agent and not around the client. The realtor is front and center, often times placed on a pedestal noting all their amazing achievements and successes. The websites almost make the agent look too successful in a way that could scare off the average every day buyer and seller.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s cool to have awards and to be successful. Who doesn’t want that? If you have a network of millionaires and you want to look like you only work with houses that are worth $10 million+, go for it.

Pros:

  • High-end, one-of-a-kind designs that win awards

  • Built on WordPress, giving you full ownership and flexibility

  • Freedom to choose your IDX provider

  • SEO and PPC services available

Cons:

  • Setup fees for custom work can reach $5,000+

  • iHomefinder CRM is functional but limited

  • Requires maintenance, like any WordPress site

  • Less “client centric” and more focused on putting the Realtor front and center which could send the wrong message. – see here for an example: https://jillszeder.com/ – Notice how immediately it’s all about them “#1 Real Estate Team 5 years in a Row,” “Featured in Wall Street Journal,” and not a single featured listing below $11 million dollars. It’s an AWESOME website though!

  • Here’s another example. Beautiful website – but it can be intimidating if you’re not in a luxury market. https://mahsheed.com/

Pricing:

  • Monthly: $99

  • Setup: $399 for templates, $1,500–$10,000+ for custom

Unique Features:
Agent Image’s WordPress foundation allows agents to expand their sites with plugins, blogs, calculators, and advanced SEO tools. If you want a website that reflects your luxury brand and gives you long-term ownership, this is the company for you.

1. Luxury Presence

Luxury Presence is the Ferrari of real estate website design…and not just because of its high prices. Every time I personally go to a luxury presence website I feel like I am opening a new Apple product for the first time! They have found a perfect middle ground to make agents look professional, successful (but not in an intimidating way), and memorable…which is what web design is all about! Luxury Presence get’s 1st place on my list for this reason. The only con about this company is that they are venture funded.

They raised an astonishing $50 million from investors to build this 40,000+ client powerhouse. The only issue with this is that now they have share holders and investors to answer to…and share holders and investors only care about one thing…their return on investment.

So their business model is built on scaling aggressively and guess who foots the bill? Yes. The clients.

Do not let that scare you though. In my opinion, the websites they make are 100% justified in the set up price tag…which runs anywhere from $500-$10,000+.

The only thing I can not justify is their monthly fee. Now I have spoken to many agents that have Luxury Presence websites. What did not surprise me was that all of them paid different amounts in their monthly fees. I have heard agents paying as little as $200 per month and agents paying as much as $500 per month – but I’m sure some people pay more. I had to ask if that included anything other than the website hosting fee. Did they get any kind of marketing like paid ads or a CRM with that high premium? No. Just a website.

It does not surprise me because they are venture funded – “Get the most you can out of the client for our ROI.”

However, they do have lead capture and marketing plans which are very high end but again, pricey.

Here are a couple example websites they have built to show you – https://thatotherlaurabush.com/ and https://charlizevega.com/ (She pays $400 per month for this and nothing else)

Pros:

  • Stunning, high-end templates and custom builds

  • Strong focus on personal branding, press mentions, and storytelling

  • Concierge marketing services available (SEO, PPC, social media)

  • Tools like single-property websites and digital listing presentations

Cons:

  • Extremely expensive, with setup fees up to $6,000+ and $500/month ongoing

  • Minimal lead capture tools compared to other platforms

  • No integrated CRM—you’ll need to connect your own

  • Designs may feel too sleek for agents in approachable or middle markets

Pricing:

  • Setup: $500 to $6,000+

  • Monthly: $500+

Unique Features:
Luxury Presence offers magazine-quality designs, digital listing presentations, and branded home valuation tools. But remember: they answer to investors. Their pricing is high because they raised $50 million in venture capital and must deliver returns. While their sites are beautiful, you’re paying for the design cachet and investor-backed marketing machine.
